Some comments from participants:
The idea of presenting research in all stages of development led to some very honest, curious and constructive discussions. The methodological challenges that are particular for research in palliative care were adressed in a manner that led to a sense of joint movement towards developing research in palliative care. The honesty, curiosity and constructiveness of the plenary discussions transgressed to the informal talks during breaks. I left the preseminar with a sense of community with the other participants that are all committed to improving palliative care worldwide.

I would like to say that the workshop was very informative, and it provided a fantastic networking opportunity for those attending. The ability to meet with other researchers and share ideas, hear about other research projects and discuss ways to address challenges within our own projects has been a really helpful exercise. The expert researchers who led the conference were extremely helpful and provided constructive criticism about the projects presented.
I am thankful for the opportunity to attend, and would recommend attendance at similar workshops to anyone considering going.
